MBS + Le Noir [backdated]

This happened somewhere in March this year and these are the pictures I had on my phone :-)

It was also sheep's birthday on 17th so we went for staycation at MBS and watched Le Noir. Magical feeling.

We're allowed to take photo as long as no flash but we're too concentrated on their movements so never take any photo in the theatre.

Jay chou's concert 2013 on 7th June [backdated]

I'm writing any stuff that have happened this year. Simply anything.

Sheep brought me to Jay's concert and it was another wonderful experience. I had fun, very fun! And it's my birthday too. I was seated at RV area so wires were part of my view until I went to the other side of RV and it was so much better!

There was a celebration of rubber plant(jurong island) in LXS so all of us have been invited for a lunch at chervons somewhere in May.

Our colors are black and red, these 2 colors are also part of Germany's flag.

Hada Crie Cool CM-N1000 Review

It's Hada Crie from Hitachi!

My nice colleague helped me to get it from Hong Kong (from 瑩之部屋) at about SGD290 earlier this year. Retail price in Singapore is over 400 bucks. But it is a lot cheaper to buy in Japan at about SGD150 which my other colleagues bought theirs later than mine. At that time, it was considered latest model but now it has been upgraded with additional function. I couldn't remember so much details on the new model.

This is a beauty tool to clean your pores using ions. It has a cool function which helps to close up your pores after cleaning. There is only pearl white available. This can be used when doing facial mask too. I would suggest start from daily to weekly basis because one will become lazy for every day usage but you must still clean your pores no matter what. One full session is about 18 min and yes, you can cut it short.
I can feel immediate difference especially putting on make up the next day that the foundation blends very well on my face. Other than that, I did encounter small outbreak when using daily so I switch to weekly basis plus I'm a lazy bum so it's a yeah for me.



Everything is written in Japanese so just google and tikum on the instruction. Adapter was already converted to suit the voltage here.




Putting your toner on cotton pad(lint free is better)



The amount of dirt which my cleansing oil can't even remove.



I'm not saying having beauty tool is essential.
To say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Fitbit Flex!

Got new gadget! I'm now officially a user of Fitbit Flex!



It tracks your daily activities(steps, distance, and calories burned) including your sleep quality.
I'm trying to figure out how to fully utilize this wristband as it can also be sync-ed with MFP, SP and others apps. I got this from challenger at $129 and did a check that DFS is selling at $120.



 
Saw US site is selling a pink flex to promote the awareness for National Breast Cancer campaign in the month of October. Too bad, this is only open for US residents. It is also on backorder which probably take 3-4 weeks of waiting time. The pink looks really cool! Hoping there will be pink band accessory pack for Singapore. Nevertheless, still a happy fitbit user :-)

Chicken pox is no joke!

Finally, decided to revive my blog.
Let me share what's going on in my life for this year.

I had chicken pox 2 weeks ago and it was a hell terrible experience especially at my age.

Having fever several times a day, no appetite and red bumps kept popping on my body and face.
Thank to anti-viral medicine which everything went under control within two days except for bumps which already appeared before the medication.

Seriously, people should get the vaccine for chicken pox if you haven't had one. Or else, going through such a horrible experience and to stay home for over a week (for my case, considered mild) was really bored. Plus, I was told that no bathing in normal/cold water unless it's herbal type to sooth body itchiness. With the usual advice on diet, not allowed to consume seafood, chicken (including egg) and dark sauce which can cause skin irritation or in worst scenario to have yellowish pus during that "crucial" period.

All the red spots on my face on day 2 and day 3, sad but no choice...

I was really glad that everything went smooth and recover well on day 7 :-)

Deep Exfoliating Gel
Texture: Gel-like, watery after application.
Scent: Mild, acceptable
My say: Mild tingling sensation. Good experience, this really clean up the skin by removing dead cell and dirt. Skin is smoother after application, leaving brighter skin. Great product!

 
Radiant Youth Essence
Texture: Greasy at first, smoothen after application.
Scent: No
My say: Initially, it was really weird to apply something oily as essence on my face but it became rather smooth than greasy after application. Great for hydration purpose. This can be applied on hand and legs too!


Face Lifting Cream
Texture: A little heavy for me, need massage for few minutes for better absorption
Scent: Mild, acceptable
My say: There was tingling sensation which lasted a while. Leaving a light glow on skin, quite like the effect. Great for hydration purpose. Didn't see much v-shape effect on face, will try again.

All these 3 products left good impression and suitable for daily usage. As for the cream, I would prefer to use on alternate day since I prefer gel-like moisturiser than cream type.
