Broken mirror gone :)

Good news, I've "fixed" my cracked mirror with DIY Stick-on. I can't remove some cracked mirror pieces because it has been glued on, it's not easy to remove. Hence, just cover it. This is such a lazy idea but yet useful.
It's a black shimmery stick-on with a small portion of "clean" mirror left :)




NYX Smokey eyes swatches



Trying to do the smokey eyes effect but not really good at it. Probably need to add on mascara which I didn't do so. zzz



Practise makes perfect. (need to practice practice practice)
I want a nice natural gradient effect.

NYX cosmetics from Mscuppycakes

Finally, I've received my precious parcel from mscuppycakes which I have been expecting for it.
I made my order on 6th Aug'09 and delivery status has been confirmed on 21st Aug'09 and arrival on 2nd Sep'09. It's a pity that NYX cosmetics will cease its business here so I have to order online.



I believe it has been open before because the seal part has been tampered. >:| effin' angry! I want everything to be in perfect condition.


Yea, lipsticks, nail polishes and NYX 10 color eyeshadow palette!


I got myself lipsticks in Tea Rose and Mars, 10 color eyeshadow palette in Smokey Eyes and Versus.


Omg, one of the Smokey Eyes E/S was chipped and the grey glitters was all over the palette. Well, this is still acceptable. Haha, I won't be able to finish them so a little gone won't hurt me.


The least expectation and I don't want to see it at all. My 'presh' Versus!!!

This must be mishandling during the transit or whatever done by whichever delivery man.
I will try to remove all the mirror when I have time because it's weird to look at broken mirror with split image reflection. Other than all these, I like the color combination and hoping someone can tell or teach me how to fully utilize my E/S. I'm not good at mix & blend E/S :(
Probably have to 'google' for some tutorials.

Well, I like FD 1 the most maybe it was a pretty fresh storyline at that time.

Remove my blackheads with baking soda!

Tips!

Get a warm towel over your face to soften your pores first. Try mixing baking soda (not baking powder) and warm water into a paste(maybe a little watery). You can get baking soda at any supermarket. The mixture ratio should 1 teaspoon of baking soda and less than half teaspoon of warm water. Just apply on your affected area and leave it dry for a few minutes then wipe off with a wet towel. You're done! You may also "scrub" your nose with the soda bits while doing the application, I think this is optional.

This is quite effective for my case to remove blackheads on my nose! Affordable and hassle-less!

But it did cause some mild redness on my nose(about 10mins) after using this method. I will try to use this on regular basis!

Was browsing beautilicious yesterday and came across this Eye Majic, instant eyeshadow. (check the link)
Just want to share this to you if you are not aware of this instant eyeshadow. Although this is nothing special, i do really like the concept of instant eyeshadow. Why? Just scroll and see.

Eye Majic only requires just 10 seconds to achieve a beautiful finish eyeshadow. This is amazing! Another fabulous stuff I want to have it!

In just this 3 simple steps below.


Step 1: Apply
Important: Close your eyelid, then raise your eyebrow to give a flat surface for better application. Using both hands hold the Eye Majic applicator on the base of the eyelid for approx 4 seconds.

Step 2: Slide
Then by applying comfortable pressure, slide the applicator across your eyelid in the appropriate direction to achieve a sharp look.
