My flea day #2

Today will be another hard working day at the flea market. Yes, I'm going to sell my clothes again (i have zillions clothes home but not all mine)

$$$ here i come!

Angelily is in tokyo now and i miss her badly! Haha!

My flea day.

Yesterday was really hot hot hot weather and I wasn't feeling well at the end of the day.
Probably of the sun heat and I didn't have a full meal that made me giddy at the night time.
I had a small profit after deduction of rental fee, cab fare and miscellaneous items. It was not a bad result cause we were selling $1-3 per item and we had cleared at least 150 items during 3PM to 9PM.
Tanglin mall flea customers are mostly crowded with maids and site workers and they will buy at least 3 items.

After flea, my BIL came and treat us good foodie at WARAKU heeren. Had bacon with asparagus, salmon and tuna sashimi and my tomato seafood ramen. Yummy.


My legs are aching now. Haa...

Did anyone watch nathan's hot dog eating contest last night? The way how Chestnut and Kobayashi wolfing down many hot dogs into their belly?

One word, GROSS! but they are really good at eating hot dogs at unbelievable speed.

I've visited doctor twice on Monday and Thursday hoping my cough with phlegm running in and out my throat GO AWAY.

Nah, not horrifying enough.



Yes, I have watched transformers. Absolutely AWESOME!

Just that many inconsiderate people kept talking in the movie, especially the guy beside me(on my left) can be a commentator. He would talk out loud to his friend or girlfriend about what was on the screen whereas the friend didn't bother to answer so much or at least she had done in a whisper mode.



I'm not a spoiler and I won't say anything here.

NYX cosmetics

Saw NYX cosmetics site having 50% off last month and decided to try some products.
I don't really apply lipstick but still, I've bought one in Rea color and simply love the nude lips effect after adding some gloss.
Tried NYX concealer jar in Yellow and Purple, it did conceal naturally as seen in the picture. Yellow is to lighten dark spots and purple is to brighten the area. I'm wondering if Beige works better than Yellow?
Concealers are wonderful products and I LOVE IT!
As for the eyeliner, I guess I'll have to find a better one.
Overall, they are affordable with satisfying results.

I'm beginning to like NYX and will definitely try their eyeshadows in the future.

fair fair fair, do you want to be fair or white?

I would prefer to be fair. (i never said i want to be white or look like a ghost, maybe i shall try to be one. Haha!) Probably from a dull yellow tone to more yummy beige tone. I will look healthier with a beige tone.
This is what my skincare supplements going to correct my dark spots and leaving me with healthier skin.

I do love my skin and contented that I don't have so much bad issues with my skin other than discoloration. My body used to be fair but skin discoloration bothered me recently so I am trying to solve this problem. Bad skin makes my day gloomy.
It is not advisable to do bleaching just for the sake of skin whitening. Unless you don't care about doing great damage to your innocent skin or you have your reasons to do so. Well, this is your privacy.
From what I have known of, it is a common trend to go for whitening injection in asia. Like having Botox, another cosmetic surgery. In long run, it's not a cheap maintenance and with some side effects? (correct me if im wrong)

I won't opt for skin bleaching or whitening injection, i just want to lighten/whiten some dark spots not to the extent of turning into a totally "snow white".

Seriously, I do not have any of this belief that whatever dark skin tone people belong to peasant or poor category while the white or fair one is the wealthy kind.

"DIY" Lash Extension

If you are lazy to put on fake lashes every time or layers of mascara, lash extension is definitely a great friend of yours to make your eyes look awesome.

This was done by Vivian in January.


I happened to see Madame Madeline's site and realized that it's possible to do a semi-permanent lash extension myself.
Unless you want it to be done perfectly nice, just find a professional one.
I just want to try it out myself. (im not so picky)

I went to nearby local drugstore to get ARDELL Duralash in Flare Medium Black, Lashfree Remover and Lashtite Adhesive in Dark. Total costs damage? Around $25.
A nice lash extension service costs from $60 to $120 and if you dislike it, you will have to pay another $10 to $20 for removal service. They have top quality lashes from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Everything is about money.
Also, a good lash extension done by the professional using top grade medical adhesive can last up to 3 months with your proper care too. Yes, you need to have "perseverance" proper care.
Sounds like a big deal!



As a first timer, I did not expect it to be nice or simple. Just treating it a trial.
I prepared my own tweezers and a plastic card for the adhesive. (put a drop of adhesive on it)
I used this video below as a tutorial guide. It was a wonderful help!

The whole procedure was not really hard and not much hassle. Just about 10-12 individual lashes for each eye should be enough.
SEE BELOW! A natural looking 10mm lashes (about 10 individual lashes)




The adhesive and lashes are durable to last up to 4-6 weeks.
Though they are waterproof, adhesive weakens if contact with oily substances.
It is normal if your lashes come off after a while as lashes shed every 2 to 6 weeks (found it somewhere on the web)
Practice makes perfect, you may need to try a few times to get used to it.

Now, say bye to my mascara.

Never knew doing eyelash extension could be easy.

Skin Whitening

Intensely sick of my skin discoloration that made me decided to start taking skin whitening supplements last week.
Basically, I just want a fairer skin tone especially my face. I need to get rid of one dark pigmentation on my cheek.
How I wish for something like a spot eraser and I can just erase the acne scars or marks on my face. (rubs)

Bad health

I was prescribed some medicine last week like sleep relaxant and muscle relaxant.
Haa, doctor said my shoulder muscles are stiff and tense causing pain at the back of my chest.
Also, I have to stop consuming caffeine, sour and spicy food to reduce my nausea.

I think my health is in a pretty bad shape. Time to relax, update later.

o2 white mask - It's not suitable for sensitive skin in my opinion, had an experience of some "burning" near the nostrils. *FLARES*

Don't think it's suitable for blemish/acne prone or sensitive skin, my question is will it "burn" the skin? It's better to test or try at the stores before committing to a full tub.
Instant whitening doesn't work this way as you know it sounds so impossible to whiten in just a short while, only to be done probably by injection or long-term intake of pills.
I would say this works more on brightening.
Brightening your face is important as dull skin makes you look bad and old. A tick for this!
It's easy and convenient to use in a shower as you can leave it for 2-3 mins after normal cleansing, and wash off during shower. Plus, I prefer leave-on mask than peel off type. Also, this is like a thick cream mask instead of gel type. So applying will be a little hard (haha, i mean troublesome)

blackhead final kit - Not really effective as compared to the advertisement poster, not all stubborn blackheads will raise to the surface for easy removal.
But maybe need very frequent usage as 1 or 2 times may not show obvious results.


Time to do face mask.
